  Our Missions

Part of Lower Clarence Baptist’s aim is to head forth in mission both locally and over seas. Although we are not all called to be in the thick of it we can certainly make a difference through praying and financial support.

May Mission Month, During May our Church focuses on Mission work overseas and give our financial support to Global Interaction's May Mission Month. GiA's vision is all about "empowering communities to develop their own distinctive ways of following Jesus." We encourage all our regular church attendees to serve in this important ministry of overseas mission, especially in May.

Globally, we work along side “Global Interaction”, an organisation affiliated with Baptist churches in Australia supporting people spreading the gospel in overseas communities. Please use the below link to find out more about the work and projects of Global Interaction.

Locally, we support Mark Ohlmus, the Head Scripture teacher at Maclean High School and now part time worker for Scripture Union in training and support of regional Scripture teachers. Take a look at the following links to get an update on Mark’s current projects and what Scripture Union NSW is up to.
